Bobtail

Bobweight
The weight attached to a rod journal to simulate the reciprocating mass when balancing a crankshaft.
Body
The assembly of sheet metal sections and other parts that provide the enclosure of a vehicle.
Body And Frame
The parts of a vehicle that support all components. A frame that supports the engine and drive train and a body that houses the entire vehicle.
Body Armor
Body Color
The exterior paint color of a vehicle. Many specialty accessories can be painted body color to blend in with a vehicle for a semless, "factory" look. Some people also remove chrome, stainless and other bright trim pieces and bumpers -- or cover them with body color accessories -- to give their vehicle a monochromatic look.
Body Control Module (BCM)
A component of self-diagnostic systems used to control vehicle function based on monitored inputs.
Body Filler
A bodywork product that is designed to fill in scratches or low areas on a vehicle's sheetmetal. After the filler dries, it can be sanded so the area is even with the surrounding sheetmetal.
